US President Barack Obama has urged his Russian corresponding person Vladimir Putin to use his power to make separatists in the eastern Ukraine stand down. The telephonic conversation transferred between the two leaders came as pro-Russian protesters continued to occupy the buildings in eastern towns.
However, for his part, Mr Putin discarded the blamed of Russian interference as calling the reports was unreliable. The EU foreign ministers told on Monday that they would enlarge the list of names targeted by sanctions. The tension has been gradually rising since Russia occupied the Crimean peninsula which previously the region of Ukraine, previous month.
The shifting condemned as an illegal attempt by the West and the Kiev, followed the throw out of the Viktor Yanukovych Ukraine's pro-Moscow President in February.
In the latest event, one separatist checkpoint near by the flashpoint town of Sloviansk reportedly came under the huge fire over the night but nobody was apparently injured.
The presidential candidate from the eastern Ukraine, Mr. Oleh Tsarev as considering as a pro-Russian activists has appeared before reporters in Kiev with the black eye after being physical attacked by the protesters as he left the TV studio.
The White House said the direct and open conversation between the two presidents was made on the request of Russia's. In addition, the statements also threatened Moscow with bigger sanctions as saying the costs Russia has already incurred will raised if those actions continues
