Culture Secretary Maria Miller Ordered to Apologize Over the Mortgage Expenses Scandal

Minister is cleared of intentionally over stated expenses but could still face combat to keep her cabinet job.

The culture secretary, Maria Miller, has been requested to say sorry in front of parliament and pay back £5,800 as considered to the inquiry report into her expense claims during which she break the MPs' code of conduct by failing to entirely co-operate. Miller told in a statement: I have acknowledged the committee's report in complete and I will apologize for that. I am satisfied that the committee has released the charges made against me by a Labor MP.
