Athlete Oscar Pistorius to Face Murder Trial Again

Oscar Pistorius, a South African athlete has to present his testimony for the second day of his murder trial.
On Monday, he made a weeping apology to the family of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp while presenting his evidences, whom he shot down last year. The trial was delayed because of Mr. Pistorius nostalgic attitude.
Prosecutors blame him for intentionally killing his girlfriend at their home. However, he has refused this and said that he misunderstood her for an interloper. In case of being found as a culperate, he can be sentenced imprisonment for his entire life.
In South Africa there are no judges at trials, and his fortune will be directed by the judge, with two assistants.
On Monday, Mr. Pistorius told the court that he was scared to sleep. Reeva’s mother looked sternly at him whilst he spoke.
Moreover he also mentioned that he had faced violent behavior regularly as he grew up. Journalist reported that Mr. Pistorius ‘lawyer was trying to portray his personality as a man with fear, sorrow and weaknesses.
The defence team is likely to address accusations regarding his client’s recklessness with pistols and that why he didn’t check for his girlfriend before he took any action.
Reeva Steenkamp who was a reality TV celebrity, model and a graduate in law, was shot with at least three bullets on last year’s Valentines.
