Chinese Court Freed Japanese Cargo Ship

China court has freed the Japanese cargo ship which it detained over the wartime debt after the compensation was paid, said by the court statement. The Shanghai Maritime Court, detained the Baosteel Emotion ship which is owned by the Mitsui OSK Lines, on Saturday.
In a published statement on its micro blog, the Supreme Court told that the ship's seizure was raised after the company entirely fulfilled all the obligations.
Moreover, the court said Mitsui compensated 2.9bn yen ($28mn) in the compensation as well as added that 2.4m yuan ($384,600) was paid for court the fees. The company told in a statement that the ship was planning to leave the Chinese port. However, the ship was seized over the not paid compensation for the two Chinese ships chartered by the Daido, a company that was a pioneer to the Mitsui, in 1936.
Japan's Kyodo news agency said, the Chinese ships were afterward used by the Japanese army and sink in the sea. Although, the Chinese court statute in the 2007 that Mitsui had to pay compensation. Mitsui plead against the judgment, but it was endorsed in 2012.
The seizure came among the severely worried ties between Beijing and over Tokyo historical tensions as well as the defensive dispute in the East China Sea. Tokyo blocked the diplomatic protest on Tuesday over the attack, saying it remained extremely worried. Worldwide News
