Largest City of Australia Gets Another Airport

The construction of a second airport in Sydney will outlay $2.4 to create numerous vacancies. However, the government of Australia has supported the creation of another international airport.

The location of the new airport will be Badgerys Creek, in the west of Sydney. Tony Abbott, the PM of Australia said that the designs and plan work for construction will be immediately initiated.

Furthermore, the construction work is supposed to start in 2016 and the funds for the accomplishment of this task will be financed by the private sector. 

The green signal for the construction of the airport from the Australian administration came nearly seven decades after the plan was proposed and debated.

The argument on the construction for another international airport dates back to 1946. This thought was put on and the proposed location for construction was also the same as now but the idea was then placed into shelves for a terror of reaction from local supporters.   

Based on calculations made earlier, the initial flights that will enter and exit the new airport are supposed till amid of2020s.

In Canberra while talking outside parliament Mr. Abbott said that the new airport will create jobs around 60,000 in number when it will become fully operational.

He also clarified that he wants an airport that is curfew-free. He mentioned this thought because the current airport of Sydney that is just 8 km away from the city runs with a curfew during 23:00 and 6:00.

Qantas, the nationwide carrier of Australia welcomed the announcement of the creation of such an airport in the times to come.
