Yahoo's newly fired Henrique de Castro, the chief operating officer who left the Internet Company with the separation package of $58 million in despite the fact that he lasted just 15 months on the job.
The disclosure in the authoritarian filing may lead to more guess of Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's decision to hire de Castro as her deputy in October 2012. Mayer dumped de Castro in the January after finishing he wasn't executing on her plan for refreshing Yahoo's lackluster ad growth. The De Castro had been responsible for the ad sales.
Yahoo Inc. In the past revealed de Castro would be getting a separation package, but didn't disclose the amount until Wednesday. The company's board said that the most of the separation stemmed from the costs of tempted de Castro from his prior job at Google Inc.
The Henrique De Castro has before the vice president of Global Media and Platforms for Google, delivers the speech during the Cannes Lions 2010 in the International Advertising Festival in Cannes. Afterwards, he became a Yahoo chief operating officer in 2012 and was discarded in January 2014 as well as he will receive $58 million in separation from the Yahoo.
